First year of the Portuguese Wine Festival took place with the support of Her Excellency Ms Manuela Franco, the Ambassador of Portugal. Auspice was given by the Minister of Agriculture Mr Marian Jurečka. The event at the Jalta Hotel featured a tasting of Portuguese wines and selected delicacies characteristic of Portugal (local coffee and traditional sweet pastry Pastel de Nata).
